ElderAlert™ comes in a single integrated package, eliminating the need of multiple fall alert, paging, communication, and tracking devices. […]

Correctional Officers

The goal of the Correctional Officer Distress Alarm (CODA) project is to increase the safety of correctional officers. A small CODA tag is worn by the correctional officer monitoring his location and relaying this information to the central control tower. An officer can call for assistance by a push of a button. Furthermore, the officer tag will detect a fall or impact automatically relaying help to his precise location.  A CODA system means enhanced security […]

Dairy Cow Tracking

Q-Track Demonstrated our ability to track in yet another diverse environment, a Dairy Farm. Q-Track placed transmitters on the neck tag worn by the cows at the dairy farm and was able to accurately determine their location throughout the 25,000 sqft facility.

Single Receiver Tracking

NFER® Technology Yields High Accuracy Tracking with a Single Locator Receiver Huntsville, Alabama October 7, 2011 Many indoor wireless tracking technologies require a complicated infrastructure to locate a transmitting device (tag).  Although Q-Track’s Near Field Electromagnetic Ranging (NFER®) technology employs multiple Locator-Receivers to provide wide area coverage, each individual Locator-Receiver is capable of stand-alone, high-accuracy. In the video demonstration, Q-Track configured a single Locator-Receiver deployment of NFER® RTLS for high accuracy (4in or 10cm) tracking […]

Geospatial Underground Tracking System (GUTS)

Fairfax VA – November, 2010 Overview of Fairfax Urban Search and Rescue Academy. Shown in gray are the 200’ of underground tunnels that run between the principal buildings Increasingly, clandestine tunnels under our southern and northern borders continue to be a problem for counter-smuggling operations. The Q-Track Geospatial Underground Tracking System provides real time positioning of robotic equipment and first responder personnel operating in a GPS and short range radio-frequency denied areas.  GUTS is capable […]

Tracking Military Operations in Urban Terrain

April 2011 Q-Track demonstrated a Location-Aware Combat Identification (LACID) system for blue force tracking. The LACID system employs Q-Track’s Near-Field Electromagnetic Ranging (NFER®) Real-Time Location System (RTLS).  The demonstration used locator-receivers deployed around the training range and a number of FCC Part 15 compliant low-power transmit tags. After a short calibration, the LACID system successfully tracked tagged soldiers throughout the training area.  Location error was typically no more than 1m (3ft) outside and inside of […]

Military Operations

Location Awareness for MOUT Training Huntsville, Alabama, June 4, 2008 Today, Q-Track demonstrated a system for tracking trainees in a Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT) Training Range. The training range comprised several steel cargo containers modified with doors and windows. Q-Track’s NFER® real-time location system (RTLS) relied on four Locator-Receivers deployed around the perimeter of the training range. The system successfully tracked a couple of tagged individuals throughout the 25 x 25m (75 x […]

Warehouse Management

Q-Track Develops Forklift Tracking Application Huntsville, Alabama December 12, 20084 When Q-Track first demonstrated a proof-of-concept real-time location system across 50,000 sqft of a Just-In-Time Services (JITS), Inc. warehouse in Hartselle, AL, the tracking “tag” was mounted on a tripod and had a two foot whip antenna. Nevertheless, Peter Beucher, was impressed. “The Q-Track team set up four receivers and was demonstrating bin level accuracy in a matter of a couple hours.” But Beucher, then […]

Radiation Monitoring (ALARMS)

A Location Aware Radiation Monitoring System OAK RIDGE, Tenn., November 21, 2008 Today, Q-Track demonstrated “A Location Aware Radiation Monitoring System” (ALARMS) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Experimental Gas Cooled Reactor (EGCR) facility. Q-Track’s Near-Field Electromagnetic Ranging (NFER®) location system used four Locator-Receivers spaced about 20m (60ft) apart to track both workers and radiation-monitoring robots. The system achieved a 30cm (1ft) typical accuracy. The location error rarely exceeded 1m (3ft). The infrastructure located […]
