Successful Demonstration at Schiphol Airport Showcases Q-Track Indoor Location Capabilities

Huntsville, AL June 19, 2018 — Q-Track today announced that the Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS), Greece, completed a successful indoor location pilot using Q-Track’s high-accuracy NFER® Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the main international airport of the Netherlands. ICCS integrated NFER® RTLS products into the “PASSME App,” a combination of personalized device and application, designed to allow passengers to relax and make the best use of their available time at the airport. Evangelos Sdongos […]

Invention Delivers Pure Location Signals for Q-Track

Huntsville, AL June 12, 2018 — The U.S. Patent Office today awarded U.S. patent 9,997,845 for an “Embedded symmetric multiple axis antenna system with isolation among the multiple axes,” to Q-Track inventors, Hans G. Schantz, Christopher D. Pittman, James L. Richards, and Stephen A. Werner. The Q-Track inventors discovered how to implement compact magnetic antenna arrays capable of detecting all three components of the magnetic field. Mutually orthogonal three-axis electrically-small magnetic antenna arrays are of great […]
