Huntsville, AL October 12, 2017 — Q-Track Corporation expanded the international sales reach of SafeSpot™ Forklift Collision Avoidance Systems by signing an agreement with Insucam, SpA to distribute the forklift safety system in Chile.

“South America is now the third continent on which Q-Track’s low-cost wireless solution will be protecting industrial and logistics workers from collisions,” said Stephen Werner, CEO of Q-Track Corporation. “We’re delighted Insucam will serve as the exclusive distributor of Q-Track’s SafeSpot Forklift Collision Avoidance Systems for Chile.” “The system works very well,” confirmed Carlos Pinto Reyes, Business Development and New Technologies Manager for Insucam.

First installation of SafeSpot with a South American customer.

SafeSpot™ protects workers by alerting them when a forklift approaches around a blind corner. When a forklift comes within a user-defined warning radius of twenty to forty feet, the SafeSpot™ Warning Light illuminates. SafeSpot™ eliminates the need for workers to wear a tag or warning device. Q-Track’s patented NFER® technology, provides a reliable warning even around corners due to the low-frequency, near-field nature of the wireless signals.

SafeSpot™ is available in a 220V AC export version, and Q-Track is looking for additional worldwide distributors.
